Blackpool World Fireworks Championship: three free nights

The World Fireworks Championship Blackpool returns to Blackpool Promenade on three Saturdays between 12 September and 10 October. Three former champions return to Blackpool

Fireworks for Africa returns after winning the Blackpool title in 2017. The South African company is described by organisers as one of the continent’s leading fireworks and special-effects specialists.

Germany’s Haupt Feuerwerke was initially due to make its championship debut in 2020, but that appearance was delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The team eventually competed in 2021 and won at its first Blackpool performance.
