Watford’s Herts Pride returns to Cassiobury Park on 22 August

Herts Pride returns to Cassiobury Park in Watford on Saturday 22 August 2026 for its 14th celebration, bringing live entertainment, community activities and wellbeing spaces to the park.

The ticketed festival runs from 12pm to 10pm. Advance adult tickets cost £12, tickets for 13–17-year-olds are £10, and family tickets are £30. Children under 13 can attend free with a responsible adult, while eligible attendees can claim a free Essential Companion ticket.

The event is for LGBTQ+ people, their families, friends and allies from across Hertfordshire and beyond. Its 2026 theme, Pride and Thrive, focuses on wellbeing, inclusion, connection and resilience.

A ten-hour Main Stage programme

Jaymi Hensley, known for Union J and for musical-theatre work including the title role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, is listed as a special guest.

He will be joined by the London Gay Men’s Chorus, drag duo Adam All & Apple Derrieres, West End vocalist Emma Lindars and Elton John tribute performer Rob Taylor. The Fabulous Lounge Swingers, ADA!R, Tiger Jazz, Allan Jay & The Boys, Alfie Ordinary, Davina Sparkle and Ophelia Payne are also on the bill.

Main Stage hosts Fiona Flange, Allan Jay, Stephanie Von Clitz and Tina Fuller from VIBE 107.6FM will present the entertainment across the day. With the programme running for ten hours, visitors can expect music, cabaret and performance to form the centre of the festival rather than a short stage schedule.

Away from the Main Stage, the festival site will include a Wellbeing Marquee, Market Zone, Sports Zone and Emergency Services Zone. There will also be a funfair and dog show, alongside organisations and services from around Hertfordshire.

Food and drink will be available on site. The mix of zones means the day is intended to offer more than performances alone, with space for visitors to meet community groups, explore services and take part in activities.

A Quiet Zone, supported by UNISON, is included in the event’s accessibility provision. Free Essential Companion tickets are also available for eligible attendees.

Herts Pride chair Tyson Martin said the event had grown from an idea to bring people together into Hertfordshire’s county Pride, welcoming LGBTQ+ people, families, friends and allies.
